How to Make Mint Simple Syrup
Cocktails, mocktails and teas yes please! I love all three of these delicious beverages depending on my mood. And when I create a tasty bevy with a medicinal home grown herb I am delighted with myself. This particular potion calls for mint but you can use many herbs such as lavender, lemon verbena, tulsi basil etc.
While your simple syrup is still warm you can dilute it with a little hot water and make yourself a cozy cuppa tea. Or once cool you can throw it over some ice and add some seltzer, a squeeze of lime and perhaps a splash of your liquor of choice! Super simple and satisfying.
You will notice in my recipe I use cups instead of weighted measurements. I did this to keep it simple, in case you don’t have a scale. I suggest being generous with cups of mint!
Here’s the recipe, have fun!!!
